    Flooring Installation

Micro Clean Restoration installs all floor types — carpet, tile, and luxury vinyl plank (LVP). When we remove water-damaged flooring during a restoration job — most often in a basement — we replace it as part of putting the space back together. For most of these spaces we recommend luxury vinyl plank, and here's why.

Why We Recommend Luxury Vinyl Plank

While we install carpet and tile, LVP is our top recommendation for basements, high-traffic areas, and post-water-damage reconstruction.

    Moisture-Resistant

Built for basements and below-grade spaces. Water won't warp or destroy the planks.

    Mold-Resistant

Unlike carpet, LVP won't trap moisture, dander, or organic material that feeds mold growth.

    Long Wear Life

Holds up to heavy traffic, pets, and active families far better than traditional carpet.

    Outperforms Laminate

Superior to laminate in both durability and water resistance, making it ideal for restoration.

    Realistic Textures

Advanced manufacturing provides highly realistic wood and stone looks that elevate any room.

    Strong Value

Comfortable underfoot, easy to maintain, and provides excellent long-term value for your home.

Signs You May Need New Flooring

Water got into the basement and ruined the floor

We extract the water, dry the structure, and install moisture-resistant LVP so your basement is protected moving forward.

We pulled up wet or moldy carpet — what do we put down?

Once remediation is complete, we replace the old carpet with durable, mold-resistant flooring that won't harbor organic growth.

The floor smells musty after a leak

Musty odors often mean moisture is trapped under the floorboards or in the carpet pad. We remove the source and install clean, fresh flooring.

We want a floor that handles moisture better than carpet

LVP is the perfect upgrade. It provides the look of hardwood without the vulnerability to spills, leaks, or basement humidity.
